1 Stars Don’t be tempted by the cute design- these are pure JUNK!!
My son was very excited to receive these walkie talkies for Christmas as he loves Buzz Lightyear. However, that excitement quickly turned to disappointment as we realized that no sound was transmitted through these pieces of junk. You can hear faint static and that is it. There wasn’t even a hint of a voice at the other end. We tried these out at different distances and it didn’t work from any distance.
Please don’t buy these! They will lead to much disappointment!
2 Stars poor quality
I bought these walkie talkies for my son. The minute I turned them on, I realized I had gotten the wrong set. The sound quality is poor and the morse code feature could not be heard at all on the receiving end. I would not recommend this set. I feel as though I paid $17.99 for the the privilege of owning the “Toy Story” brand and not much else.

I wish I would have read the other reviews before purchasing this toy, but since it was a $5 Christmas deal, I thought I couldn’t go wrong. Right? WRONG! Everything people have said about the voice quality being low to nonexistent is true, but couple that with the fact that these take the expensive 9volt battery, and I actually paid more to power them than I did to buy them. Don’t waste your money. Like another reviewer says, just buy a regular set of walkie talkies.

These walkie talkies are definitely made for the brand name of owning toy story toys. I thought my son would love these and he was so excited when he got them. Unfortunately you can barely hear the other person your speaking to. The morris code button didn’t seem to work at all. They are not work the 20.00 that we paid for them. My suggestion would be to try walkie talkies not designed for children!
