Transformers Movie 2 Deluxe Breakaway
Transformers Movie 2 Deluxe Breakaway

Serving in an army of robots tied to the ground makes BREAKAWAY unique. He is one of the very few among the elite AUTOBOT flyers, and he is unmatched for speed in a straight line. While other pilots focus on aerial acrobatics that confound the enemy, BREAKAWAY is content to speed over a fight at seemingly impossible velocity, releasing bombs and missiles that strike their targets before the thunderous boom of his passage can catch up. Team up with this faithful ally and get ready to take on DECEPTICON forces! In robot mode, check out this super-cool AUTOBOT soldiers spinning gatling cannon! Then, with a few twists and turns, change the robot figure to fighter jet mode and gear up for lots of high-flying adventure!

4 Stars awesome toy great size
bought for my twins christmas stocking. looks awesome in package. wont know bout durability til then. but good size so its worth the price alone. paid more for smaller size transformers elsewhere so a good deal here. would recommend to anyone. also bought the chroma motorcycle transformer and am equally happy with it.
3 Stars Kinda disappointed
When I first saw Breakaway in the stores, before ROTF release, I decided I needed to get him. Even though I knew he wasn’t in the movie, I collect TF planes and the fact that he had a F-35 JSF mode made me all the more eager to get my hands on him.
In plane mode, he is amazing! Good, accurate details… I can’t ask for more in Deluxe class toy. Had this been a Voyager, you’d expect a firing projectile and stuff. But as a JSF model, this is classy and very realistic looking. The paint job/ camaflouge is ok too… can live with that.
Unfortunately, that’s where the good stuff ends.
Had a little trouble tranforming to robot mode, but once I did…. I was massively disappointed at how small his head is. His face/head is pretty much a “pilot’s helmet” inside the cockpit. While it looks normal in the pictures, in reality… the head is the same size as a Legends class toy!!! Add in the fact that his head is a same height as his shoulders (instead of above), giving him a hunched-back look. The latter I can live with too, but not the tiny face/head. Plus the cockpit glass keeps getting in the way, so from a distance, you can’t really see his face.
The other complaint I have is that Hasbro didn’t need to give him feet with four ‘toes’. In robot mode, it looks funny. In jet mode, they look really weird when they’re tucked away at the bottom of the fuselage. What was wrong with plain, rectangular feet?
All in all, I’m a bit disappointed. And the Mech-Alive feature isn’t too great either! I’m just going to keep him in plane mode mostly.
That said, he is same size and looks great next to some of the other jets I have - Dreadwing (Mig-29), Starscream & Thundercracker (F-15s) & Sky Warp (SU-37).
5 Stars favorite toy
My grandchildren love to play with transformers. In some points they are challenging, forcing kids to use their brains.
I enjoy playing with transformers too.
5 Stars cute but fierce
This is jean`s son.I got this from santa and with three transformers in one box!The robo mode is great because it has a sub-machine gun, very detailed and people say the cockpit can`t open but I waned to see his face on the outside so where the big cocpit is lid it up and taadd you have it. The vehicle is detailed but no guns. This toy made it the best christmas ever.
4 Stars Nice looking jet that looks like a F-35
The transformed is a good looking F-35 fighter jet, and on its own a good toy. The transformation adds more fun.
