4 Stars Transformers
My sons likes this transformer, it seems a bit more durable that the ones i am used to him having. Feels a bit more solid. Just received as a gift from santa, we’ll see how it stand up in the next couple of months

5 Stars Inspiring
If you love Transformers, you loved the recent movies, and you’re even slightly interested in jets, you going to freak out over this toy! This guy transforms into the SR-71 Blackbird, the most secretive, highest flying, and fastest reconnaisance aircraft ever created and flown by man (unfortunately recently rendered “useless” by current satellite capabilities)! The detail and thought put into the design of this toy’s mechanics and aesthetics are truly inspiring. It’s an engineering dream come true!!! . . . And an inspiring one at that! I love it!

5 Stars AWESOME Transformer!
I bought this for my 7 year old for Christmas. He lives for Transformers! Jetfire is a very realistic looking jet. It didn’t take him too long to figure out how to tranform it. I love transformers because they are great for hand eye coordination and teaching patience.

5 Stars Jetfire
I haven’t gotten a transformer since I was five or six, so when I saw my friend’s little brother playing with Blackout, I decided to pick up a couple. The complexity of the transformations is what makes this work for me. No more flipping the legs down, arms up, and torso around, this model has an 18 step transformation (according to the instructions). Ages 5+, haha, good luck. Parents, you will probably be doing most of the transforming for them.

Anyways, I just wanted to post a few things I noticed about the model that I would have liked to know earlier:

The body is actually curved in jet mode. It’s not just camera distortion.

Some of the parts a rubber. While kid friendly, in the long run, I usually find that rubber deteriorates.

The “belt” that helps Jetfire combine with OP doesn’t have a manufactured location to fit into. In jet mode, the legs hold it against the belly, but in robot form, the clasps hang behind him unless you get creative.

Last thoughts:

Jet form is very impressive, from the top. I just wish it wasn’t so curved. A ton of other reviewers have talked about the poor design on the bottom of the plane. Leader class OP is very well done, I would pick him up before looking at Jetfire. I haven’t bought any of the other LC models, so I cannot compare them with this one.

5 Stars I have a question… Help me pllz… :)
I am collecting transformers revenge of the fallen. And i heard about new power-up version of Optimus Prime. He achieves some parts of JetFire from the same seria of toys. Question:Do i have to get special edition to combine them together or it is possible to do that even if you have them both but from different boxes?

Thanks.
