3 Stars Wrong Part!
This product came quickly and appears to be in working order from a glance– but it doesn’t fit in my psp 1000. I’ve taken the original out and compared them closely– they appear extremely similar, but this one simply will not screw into place properly. I can only surmise it was designed for a different model of psp. The price is so low that I’m not that concerned with the money, but the time lost is frustrating. I’ll be looking somewhere else to find one that actually meets my needs.
EDIT: I have since purchased the other replacement stick available on amazon right now, and had the exact same problem. However, since I had nothing to lose at that point, I tried filing down the body of that stick to fit properly. Part of the body was getting in the way of screwing the body in, so I filed away the plastic and a bit of the metal there, and it fit. I’ve tried it a bit, and after some initial sticking, it seems to work now. I’d suppose it’s likely that this one would work as well if I filed it down, so if you have the same problem, try getting a strong file and working it down maybe a quarter of an inch on the corner. It worked for me, strange as it sounds! Good luck, all.

This part was very easy to replace, though it doesn’t come with instructions on how to do that. A quick search on YouTube will show how to replace it properly.

This item worked initially but only lasted a very short time before it failed. It would be fantastic if it were more durable.

4 Stars Analog Stick is fixed
The company who sends this item delivers it pretty quickly. The price is also very good even if the analog stick works perfectly. I don’t know if it will last long enough because I have only been using it for 2 months and it is already starting to drag a bit. My suggestion is to buy 5 of them and have only one shipping. The shipping will alway be like 5 dollars so just get as many as you want in one shipping.
