This is a well made, high quality action figure. This one and all made by McFarland are display ready. It’s a shame to let the kids play with them, eventhough they really have fun. I would recommend for more mature children, but would even stand up to younger hands.
4 Stars Quite a good toy
Just received this and one of the Master Chief variants.
The Elite is really detailed and quite nice.
The only downsides I have found with it are:
1) The fins on the rear of the plasma rifles are fragile, if you drop it or the toy falls over, be sure to anticipate those fins getting broken/compressed.
2) You can only store one of the rifles on the toy at a time. I can only find one peghole on the back. In order for the character to hold the rifles in his hands, you need to remove the holding pegs. Quite easy to lose that small piece of plastic.
Otherwise, a good toy and looks good.
5 Stars Amazing Halo 3 Elite replica!
I have been waiting for this figure to be released since April. It is everything I was hoping it to be, and more. The removable helmet is key to my satisfaction. I’m in the process of making a Elite costume, so this 3d model is very helpful. The detail is amazing, and he is very durable. Even though the hands are posed tightly gripped, they come apart enough to get the rifles into his hands. Clearly, a must buy for the Halo fan.
5 Stars These things are freakin amazing.
The detail is great, and just in case you didn’t know, the helmet, shoulder pads, and chest piece are removable. The kid I gave this to thinks it is the greatest thing. The only qualm I have is the range of motion in the legs isn’t great, but still, if you want action figures this is the way to go.

I went to Walmart one day, and saw this Halo 3 elite, so I bought it, and when I got it out, I saw how detailed it was, but this elite doesn’t move around very well, but I guess that it is ment for display. I also had trouble getting the Plasma Rifles into his hand, and the box says that the Rifles could be stored onto it’s legs, but I only found the hole on it’s back. When I took his helmet off, I could get it back on, but it didn’t stay too well. Also, some people said it would come with a Plasma Grenade, except it didn’t. It does look like the Minor combat elites from the game though. It is a great figure, and is better than the Arbiter.
