5 Stars Great for Wall-e Fans!
This is a great Wall-e Toy for fans!
He is poseable, you can switch between new and old worn-out treads (with a little work,) and he can be “Repaired” when falls apart (but if you’re careful, he doesn’t fall apart often!)
You push down on him gently and “drive” him accross carpet, he doesn’t have wheels on the undersides of his treads so the gears in his wheels turn so it’s more like the movie than a Construct-A-Bot Wall-e.
Even though Construct-A-Bot can turn into a cube and is magnetized, the U-Repair has a storage space where you can place the treads you don’t need or any stuff he “collected.”
Overall it’s a fun toy and I would recommend it and a Construct-A-Bot Eve if you want an Eve and Wall-e.
2 Stars Pain for parent
Get this Wall-E for your 4-5yo if you want to slowly drive yourself insane. I don’t know about older kids but mine can’t keep the wheels on the thing. The wheels must attach in two spots to be connected to Wall-E and it is just too hard for younger kids to pop them in place. And let me not forget to tell you the whole thing comes apart: eyes, neck, body, arms (in 2 places!). The tears, the searching….pass on this Wall-E if you ever plan on touching it.
*Only gave it 2 stars because the kids love the dang thing.
1 Stars Have Fun Putting it Back Together
If this toy is for a 3-4y/o, prepare to REPAIR it constantly. They were not kidding in the name. U will repair it again and again and again…. The wheels pop off if you breathe on it. It comes with 20 little pieces you will have to keep track of. My son has lost parts so many times I can’t count. When I finally find them and put them back on they are off again in no time, only to be lost or misplaced again. Weee! What FUN! Honestly, I think my son is pretty disappointed with it as well. Hopefully Transforming Walle is not as easily dismantled at $50+, because that’s what he wanted in the first place, I should have gotten it instead… This is only good for collectors(Grown ups).
4 Stars WALL-E
I was a little disappointed when I got this toy for I thought it was bigger! However when my nephew recieved it, he thought it was the best thing in the world!(He even sleeps with it)! So I am glad that he is enjoying his gift…..
4 Stars Price is $11 at Toysrus. Don’t pay more!
This is an adorable well made toy. However, this is sold for $149 by Amazon third party seller Black Lightning Sales while it is sold at ToysRus for $10.99. I was so shocked by that scam that I wrote a review to make sure other customers are aware of it.
